Wisdom tooth removal in Peshawar from PKR 8,000 at DentalTouch, Nasir Bagh Road.

Wisdom teeth (third molars) are the last adult teeth to emerge, typically between ages 17–25. Because the modern jaw often lacks space to accommodate them, wisdom teeth frequently cause problems:

  • Impaction — the tooth is blocked from fully erupting, partially or fully trapped in the jawbone
  • Pericoronitis — infection and inflammation of the gum flap over a partially erupted wisdom tooth, causing pain, swelling, and bad taste
  • Crowding — a wisdom tooth pushing against the second molar, causing pressure and root damage
  • Decay — wisdom teeth are difficult to clean and are prone to cavities, which can spread to the adjacent molar

Before your visit

Eat a light meal 2 hours before your appointment. Arrange for someone to drive you home — do not drive for the rest of the day after surgical extraction. Stock up on soft foods (yoghurt, soup, mashed foods) beforehand. Ice packs applied to the cheek in the first 24 hours help reduce swelling.
